It was at that moment that my television melted and oozed across the living room carpet. I guess Mr. Obama was right after all. His government is stimulating the economy – I’m going to need a new TV and carpet.

  2. frieda says:

yes, but the sad part is that Obama did not correct her or try to make a stand! no spin

  3. Banjo says:

Why doesn’t someone pour water on that old hag and make her melt? It worked in the Wizard of Oz.

  4. Joe says:

Seriously Obama’s standing would have risen 10 fold if he called her on it. His silence is telling.

  5. CFB says:

  6. Stu707 says:

She’s a sly one, Granny Helen. “Do you know any countries in the middle east that have nuclear weapons?”

  7. jaywhite says:

Helen Thomas has to defend Al Qaeda. Look what they did to her face.

  8. Eppur Si says:

Helen Thomas is the so-called journalist, right?

  9. Lawrence Kramer says:

I’ve long regarded Ms. T. as a curiosity – sort of a press-room mascot, and I think she’s too “beloved” (i.e., a symbol of the press’s right never to be criticized for merely being stupid) to be attacked by the White House. But last night’s loaded question really was over the line.

  10. Joe Gordon says:

It’s very clear what a so-called terrorist is………It is a person who cuts off your so-called head.
