  1. Rogue Male says:

And we’re not even 100 days into this collective disaster.

  2. SukieTawdry says:

So, who are ya gonna believe? The White House spin or your own lyin’ eyes??

  3. Kroll Tiller says:

If it looks like a bow, bends lie a bow, sways like a bow, then it’s probably a bow.

I think the bow will make a great attack ad which explains the disinformation campaign.

Everything about Obama reminds me of the Soviets.

  4. marybel says:

Rather than sit through a painful 3 minute video, go here where it has been shortened:

    http://hotair.com/archives/2009/04/08/white-house-bow-what-bow/

Watch the contrast of Obama’s puny head dip toward the queen and his jack-knife obeisance to the king.

It’s bad enough to bow, bu way worse to try to tell us he was just shaking with both hands (which Obama did do, AFTER he bowed!)

  5. gdp says:

The really stupid part is that the meeting took place a week ago, and Bowgate was already behind them. Why bring it up again? Cheney must have stay behinds in the White house too.

  6. elTaosneo says:

Karl Rove made him do it!

  7. Stephen Lins says:

I remember GW Bush walking hand in hand with the Saudi king a few years ago. How many hundreds of times did we see that image on TV and in still pictures. The media and the Dems were merciless in their mocking. Now, not so much.

  8. Alex M says:

Oh the desperate neocon echo chamber, hilarious. Remember George Dubya Bush affectionately holding the Saudi King’s hand, perhaps proposing a same-sex marriage?

  9. biblio44 says:

#3: “I think the bow will make a great attack ad….”

I don’t think so, since there’s footage of W not only holding hands with the king, but also bowing to him and kissing him.

  10. Kroll Tiller says:

Alex M, but aren’t you an echo chamber yourself: Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush…..

No one’s going to click on your stupid link, and I’m probably the only one who would bother reading your troll post, but it’s my job. TK

  11. myna says:

White House is lying and they know it was a bow and it looks bad. The damage is done. Their explanation is comical. The trolls are the only one buying that.

  12. Kroll Tiller says:

#9 Bibby the Troll, Bush is history. Get over it!

  13. Calaf279 says:

“..grasped his hand with both hands…” Not really, if you freeze the video you can see what very much looks like Obama’s left hand by his right thigh. This is very evident if you lighten the color.

  14. Jonas Menchik says:

Ok, Obama didn’t bow, and J street is pro-Israel, we are in an age of fiscal responsibility, and Russia is our friend.

Is there any part of our country that is not exclusively Orwellian now? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orwellian

  15. Moritz says:

He wasn’t bowing, he was reading from his Get Smart teleprompter shoe.

  16. Rogue Male says:

“Only waiters bow at the waist.”
    –George V

  17. myna says:

Two men kissing is very american. But a US president bowing as if subservient to a king that is not american.

  18. Mary says:

    Faux pas? What faux pas?

  19. Steven from Indiana says:

    “I did not…”

    (a) Bow to that
    (b) have sex with that
    (c) king,
    (d) woman,
    (e) Abdullah.
    (f) Monica.
    (g) Barak
    (h) Bill

    Change?

I modified a funny post I saw. Can’t find it now.

    Steven from Indiana

  20. BD57 says:

#7, congrats – - – you hit “submit” and, voila!!!! #8 shows up and salutes!!!!!

    It’s a real giggle ….

  21. elTaosneo says:

#8 … I agree with you. The Republicans should use the Obama bow ad against him, and Obama should use the hand-holding ad against Bush.

  22. Rogue Male says:

One would have thought the prez might have remembered the history of the Arab slave trade before choosing to perform such an act of submission.

  23. Paulo says:

That wasn’t a bow as much as this was not a pipe…

    Oh, la trahison des images….

  24. lester says:

I don’t think any president could possibly prostrate himself in front of the saudis to the extent that our previous commnader in chief did over a period of a decade or more.

  25. usinkorea says:

#24 some truth to that — but prostrating yourself physically right out of the gate, as well as other out of the gate moves to Iran and others in the region, make me believe you’ll get to see how it can possibly get worse — much, much worse.

What I had in mind to say before reading comment #24:

It is significant that he didn’t choose to bow for the Queen of England but did the King of Saudi Arabia.

  26. lester says:

    how is that significant

  27. Rogue Male says:

One already reigns over an Islamic-dominated hell-hole and the other’s nearly there?

  28. Funeral Guy says:

Am I the only one who is getting really sick of having my intelligence insulted every ten minutes by this administration? Not to mention being embarrassed as an American by all the gaffes and the naivety.

  29. RSE says:

Could this just be an almighty middle finger salute to Obama’s critics? “F– yeah I bowed, but here’s my excuse, and even though it’s a big pile of guano and insults your intelligence, it’s something the netroots left can hang a hat on to defend me. And the MSM isn’t going to pay any attention, anyway. Isn’t life great?!”

  30. michiganruth says:

it’s scary that the Obama people expect us to believe he didn’t bow when we can see that he did.

but it’s even scarier that there are millions of Americans who are completely buying it.

for some people, Obama can literally can do no wrong.

  31. Mary says:

The bow or no bow is all great fun, but seriously, did any European leader bow to the King?

  32. CK MacLeod says:

I’m not sure what you’re getting at, Mary, but I did hear it stated by some journalist or pundit or other that Obama is the only one who exercised Judgment to Bow. Actually, that’s my phrase. There may have been some head-nods and mini-bows exchanged among the other heads, necks, and shoulders of state, but Obama outshone them all bow-wise, or so we are informed.

Sometimes, the President reminds me of Eddie Haskell.

  33. Kroll Tiller says:

    CK, Eddie Haskell…exactly!

http://tinyurl.com/cddl24 Best incite into Obama’s character from Richard Epstein who knew him at the National Review.

  34. myna says:

Obama is the enlightened one that they have been waiting for. He is showing proper way of bowing to a mysogynist King.

  35. Mary says:

Thanks CK. That’s what I was getting at.

  36. You really know how to kick ass, Jennifer.

You are now my ideal woman (she used to be Olive Oil)

  37. winston says:

Obama, like any radical leader, thinks ppl r dumb n stupid. it’s the case in Iran. Mullahs think ppl r dumb. they take ppl 4 fools

  38. GirdYourLoins says:

That wasn’t a bow and Obama isn’t Laurence Harvey.

  39. J.E. Dyer says:

I knew there’d be some LOL Moments at this post, and sure enough. The highlights are the Eddie Haskell reference (nice) and the Get Smart Teleprompter Shoe.

I’ve finally figured out what Obama reminds me of: a recurring Laugh-In gag. It’s like whenever you see this guy, he takes a predictable pratfall, and then Goldie Hawn in a bikini starts boogieing against a psychedelic background, or what’s-his-name in an overcoat and goofy hat tumbles sideways on the tricycle.

Beautiful downtown Burbank. “Veddy int-ah-rrrest-ing… but SHTYOO-pid.” The Flying Fickle Finger of Fate.

    President Barack Obama.

  40. Dan says:

    He’s a malignancy, a mendacious malignancy.

  41. Ziggy Zoggy says:

Ha, ha ha! Is anybody surprised that Obama would lie so blatantly about this? (Through his proxies, of course, so he can later blame the lie on them if the American public calls him on it.) If you are surprised, you’re still under the false impression that the Anointed One “is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.” If you believe his whopper, you’re a hopeless Obamaton.

The Obamessiah is a harbinger of change, all right. He’s changing America into a Third World laughing stock.

  42. Roy Mustang says:

So why is Obama lying about this? Because he’s a piece of s***. A lying piece of s*** who parties with murders and black supremacists. But don’t worry, Chicago gave that murder its citizen of year award and that supremacist resigned/retired so everything is ok.

  43. kim says:

I particularly like the marvelous colors in those photos; red, gold, black and white. That’s going to make a magnificent campaign ad in three and a half years, if Obama lasts that long.
    ===========================================================

  44. Ziggy Zoggy says:

    Kroll Tiller,

thanks for the video link. It did provide excellent insights into Obama’s personality by an astute judge of character who knows him personally.

I did disagree with one of Epsteins assessments, however. Obama does not have excellent self control. His self control is based on how far others will humor his false image. Whenever he’s criticized in the slightest, or hears a question or remark he doesn’t like, he loses his cool and gets b1tchy. He’s a complete phony who is afraid of slipping up and letting others see just how incompetent he is, yeah, but his image of self control is dependent on the charity of others.

This is the guy who crowed “I won” as an expression of bipartisanship, wailed that he was being “interrogated” by the fawning press corps, and threw a hissy fit when he was compared to Paris Hilton. In fact, he’s thrown a lot of hissy fits.

Good job at smoking the trolls, by the way. They get especially frustrated when you parody their screen names.

  45. Kroll Tiller says:

    You’re the man, Ziggy.

  46. Stuart Rose says:

It depends on how you define “bow”.
