Andrew Breitbart was a revolutionary, and I mean that almost literally. He was one of the few people who seemed to understand in his marrow the transformation of the way we would get and understand news and politics—and how that transformation would undercut the ideological narrowness that was the dominating condition of the media in the second half of the 20th century. And he helped bring about that transformation.
He was also my dear friend—garrulous, cheerful, raging, enthusiastic, hysterical, joyful, frenetic, passionate, untamed, smart, personally modest, technologically ambitious, weirdly visionary, compulsively pugnacious, monomaniacal—hard to take at times, and impossible not to love at all times.

RIP Andrew…. You will be greatly missed… n
Josh Trevino had a tweet that is very appropriate: "You wish to honor the man? Very well, then: take up his sword and fight as he did." n nI think that's one of the best sentiments I've read all morning. We need so many more like him, not just to fight the fight, but to do it in the manner in which Andrew did – with full gusto. Full speed ahead and the hell with the brakes. n nHe will be missed. Baruch dayan emet.
bs'd nAMEN!!!!
Exactly. n nI try to do all I can to alert others to the dangers, to hell with PC constructs.Keeping quiet will kill us all-those who choose liberty over tyranny!!. n nBaruch dayan emet. n nAdina Kutnicki, Israel
No one will replace him but… Andrew showed us the way. The libs are so use to us being in the prone position while arguing with them (and the fact that they "have" the media), we cowed in response. Andrew noticed we were always on defense; no more my friend. Once he showed us liberals fall apart if they have to defend themselves, their issue, or their ideology, it should be just a matter of time. It is time to go on offense. nThe key question to be asked of liberals with every response we give is…Where did you get that idea from? It will inevitably be Marx, Hitler, Stalin, Engels, Mao, or Lenin (maybe Bismark, but they aren't that aware), and if they are unaware we should point out who's idea that really was, forcefully! nI just finished Liberal Fascism; Jonah Goldberg. It is all laid out there. nMost libs don't want to do the 1984 Orwell fascism by the states boot on your neck-forever!! It is more like Huxley's; Brave New World, where the state hugs you to death with fascism that tells you what toilet, and what light bulbs please mother earth the most. How much better things would be if you just go along. Keep Breitbarts legacy going-even if you lose friends; it matters.
I admired Andrew as the warrior for truth. What a bold, courageous, and funny guy he was. What a loss! I'm so sad for his family; sad too for this country that he loved. He spoke for me, for all who love this country and its freedoms. His Big sites were always the first to be read. He will be greatly missed. Sad.
We lost a great general.
bs'd nMay G-d bless his soul and his loved ones. We have lost a warrior in the fight to win the hearts and minds of America. Let us keep him in our memory as we go forward & continue to battles the true enemy…ignorance. Rivky
Andy will be greatly missed. He had a lot of guts and he knew his Jewish roots which always came out in his passions for justice and honesty.A truly great loss.
Andrew was my hero–such a loss, a truly unique, indefatigable warrior for truth and justice.
Andrew Breitbart was a modern David fighting Goliath,. He was the Titan Atlas — fearless and ferocious with righteous indignation. He was loved.
Miss, but not forgeting……
Some say that only the good die young, others that God works in mysterious ways. n nWhile some may consider him a "warrior for the truth," I considered him a master of the half-truth.
Of course, I'm saddened to hear about anyone's untimely death. I understand, also, that he was a bright, ambitious guy who made something of hImself in a very competitive business. I am a little bemused, however, at all this attention in a journal with serious intellectual and policy credentials to a fellow journalist who did not appear to have such credentials. (Or if he did, he did not often make use of them.) My recollection is that his claim to fame was publishing the picture of Anthony Weiner's private parts. I know there are other accomplishments, some of them laudable, no doubt, but others of the "ambush journalism" genre that I grew to dislike many years ago when 60 Minutes started using them against conservatives. That Mr. Breitbart figured out how to use these methods against liberals did not impress a whole lot. Two wrongs don't make a right. This kind of journalism isn't raising anyone's consciousness or level of understanding…just making partisan folks feel good by bashing the other side. n
Tan'tzvah – May his soul be bound up in the bundle of life.

Baloney!! Andrew did anything to promote his career. he went after Weiner in a McCarthyistic way. "Ladies and gentleman, I have on my cell-phone a picture of Weiner's wiener. But I am too much of a gentleman to show it to you," he might have said.
God's rest for Andrew. n nThe bile from the half-humans of the Left is telling. Twitter is where morons can prove their stupidity, 124 characters at a time. n
After Sen. Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts died in 2009, Breitbart tweeted u201cRest in Chappaquiddicku201d and called him u201ca special pile of human excrement.u201d When critics questioned his tone, he tweeted they u201cmissed my best ones!u201dr n(NY Post).r nr nthis says it all
He will be forgotten by next week. He was an attention hound and he made a lot of noise to get it. People loved him because they shared his prejudices and his vulgar boorish methods to garner approval by hurting good people. Every dog has his day, but evan God had enough of this clown and his methods. Rest in peace Andrew, I am sure you meant well and believed you were helping.
There are no young conservatives. The GOP is dominated by moralizers (who sin plenty themselves), gun enthusiasts (who played ostrich when another child shot children), and (some) billionaires. Santorum is nudging Romney to the far right, and he will have to face his words in the general election. Finally, finally, the masses have learned that their interests do not lie with the GOP. they sort of LIKE getting health insurance. and they no longer believe "voodoo economics" that if u give money to the rich, it will trickle down to them.
I walked through the incident at CPAC in 2010 — you can actually see me in one of the videos. n nMy take on this is that he was our John Beluchi — he was the general before the troops were in the field — he led the way and we will follow on after him…
YO! n nEveryone knows that Andrew Breitbart had heart problems! So what better opportunity to use the Heart Attack Gun that the CIA have perfected to remove anyone they deem as a threat? n n A CIA secret weapon used for assassination shoots a small poison dart to cause a heart attack, as explained in Congressional testimony in the short video below. By educating ourselves and others on vitally important matters like this, we can build a brighter future for us all. n nThe dart from this secret CIA weapon can penetrate clothing and leave nothing but a tiny red dot on the skin. On penetration of the deadly dart, the individual targeted for assassination may feel as if bitten by a mosquito, or they may not feel anything at all. The poisonous dart completely disintegrates upon entering the target. n nThe lethal poison then rapidly enters the bloodstream causing a heart attack. Once the damage is done, the poison denatures quickly, so that an autopsy is very unlikely to detect that the heart attack resulted from anything other than natural causes. Sounds like the perfect James Bond weapon, doesn't it? Yet this is all verifiable in Congressional testimony. n nThe astonishing information about this secret weapon of the CIA comes from U.S. Senate testimony in 1975 on rogue activities of the CIA. This weapon is only one of many James Bond-like discoveries of the Church Committee hearings, officially known as the United States Senate Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities.
