Today, BuzzFeed reports the unsurprising news that the Obama campaign has lost its notorious confidence after a rough couple of weeks. The reasons are what you’d expect: Joe Biden’s gay marriage slipup, the botched Bain attacks, and the public rebukes from fellow Democrats. But toward the end of the article, Doug Schoen points out the source of the confidence problem – the Obama campaign is heading into the summer and still hasn’t settled on a definite vision for a second term:
Critics inside the party and out, however, warn that Obama has a deeper problem: He hasn’t clearly communicated a simple rationale for a second term.
“They have no clear message or overarching theme other than class warfare and attack politics,” pollster Doug Schoen told BuzzFeed. “They don’t have a vision for the second term. No clear sense as to what the administration is offering for a second term. There is widespread dissatisfaction with both parties and both candidates in primary results [Tuesday] — and no clear idea how Obama is going to unite the county and lead us forward.”
Others have noticed as well. Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal reported that Obama seems to be focusing more on small-scale objectives, rather than a grand reelection vision. But it also seemed like he was planning to weave these objectives into a larger populist, class warfare message, which he’d been laying the groundwork on since last fall. If that was the plan, it may have to be recalibrated after Democrats publicly balked at Obama’s attacks on Bain Capital this week.
The Romney campaign also seems to have picked up Obama’s vulnerability in this area. His “Day One” ads that outline the steps he’d take on his first day in the White House provide a strong contrast to Obama. What would Obama’s second term look like? At this point, the American people have no idea, and Obama doesn’t seem to either.
President Obama is not going to reveal his second term agenda, so please don't expect him to. n nJust as he hid his first term agenda under the gauzy veil of "hope and change", so he will hide his second term agenda until he gets past his "last election" and has sufficient "flexibility" to enact it. n nHis first term agenda has consisted of 1. a will to power, 2. taking over as many sectors of society as he dares, 3. a war on the Catholic Church and other conservative religious organizations, 4. mollycoddling public employee unions, 5. flooding Mexico with illegal weapons, 6. empowering the racist AG Eric Holder, 7. holding the co-equal branches of government in contempt, 8. squandering the victory in Iraq, fixing to bug-out in Afghanistan, losing Egypt, undermining the anti-mullah population of Iran and insulting Israel (middle-east foreign policy), 9. insulting Britain, repeatedly (European foreign policy), 10. Yukking it up with his amigo Chavez, mollycoddling Cuba, harrasing Honduras, rejecting Canada, and see #5 above (local sphere of influence foreign policy). n nI could go on, but I think I've made my point. n nMitt Romney may be the biggest flip-flopping RINO Mormon Weirdo Bully who ever abused his dog, and bought his wife Cadillac cars and thoroughbred horses but he'll be George Washington II compared to this guy.
Obama's agenda is easy, of course you will never see the MSM say it, they agree with him. However, that being said, our dear leader wants to run the US into the ground and remake it with this socialist Utopia that he has in mind for it. Obama is bought and paid for by George Soros.

Clinton was able to work with a GOP Congress, this guy has never had to negotiate anything in his entire life. The entitlement mentality only works as long as you have enablers, and Obama wasn't able to sell totalitarian socialism to the people who mattered in Congress. Obama got what he wanted – Obamacare. After that he checked out and went to the golf course. Now he wants a mulligan for his first them. What significant character change can he point to that would make things any different?

Your last sentence is a hoot and should be emblazoned everywhere across the political landscape coz it's sooo true. n nPersonally, I don't believe Romney to be the bad guy he's made out to be. I actually think he will be a really great president … a HUGE improvement over the current disaster in the White House. n nObama is the epitome of incompetence, malfeasance and malice masked by a thin veneer of bullsh*t. Truly a silver-tongued devil. I can't wait to see him go. We have got to get this right in November and elect Romney or witness our country go over the cliff if we fail.
Well, BHO does have a new message: "the first president with the smallest increase in spending in 60 years" and the "Republicans were the ones with the wild spending" (to paraphrase). And Politifact states all of this is true!! Of course it is all over MSM and so this is the "new" theme since Bain didn't quite work out for BHO. But looking at the amount his administration spends EACH DAY, $9.7 billion, it's the most of ANY president, even Bush with $6.8 billion! But MSM won't report on that and Politifact, well, that would interfere with getting BHO re-elected.!
Obama hopes to offer enough bribes to voters to get reelected. it really is that simple. There are many Americans whose primary reason to vote is to obtain more goodies from the government. It may even be too late to save the country. At this point in time, Romney only has a slight advantage over the president. This is a very dangerous time in American history.
Obama says he needs "five more years" to complete his agenda for the 57 states he thinks are in the union.
Obama cannot "settle on a message" because the Little Marxist hasn't got one that sells, so he settles for attempted potshots, until each potshot in its turn then BACKFIRES. Because that is what the weapons of Evil do – BACKFIRE!
