A: Download it from the iTunes app store.
Q: What content is included in the app?
A: The app includes a free sample of Commentary content plus complete issues of Commentary for purchase. Each digital edition of Commentary also offers bonus content such as extra photos, exclusive videos, slideshows, interactive content and more.
Q: Does the issue expire?
A: No. Once you purchase an issue you will have access to the content from your app for as long as you keep the app.
Q: Does my print-magazine subscription include access to the app?
A: No, the app is a separate purchase. You can subscribe to the print edition of Commentary here.
Q: Can I subscribe to the app?
A: Yes. You can purchase a subscription to Commentary from the App Store on your iPad. We are pleased to offer subscriptions to the iPad edition of Commentary for $1.99 per month or $19.99 for an annual subscription. You may also purchase a single issue for $4.99. If you would like to sample an issue before deciding to subscribe, our September issue is freely available for download.
Q: Can I share the digital issue with friends?
A: Not at this time, but you can share individual articles with the share buttons included in each one.
Q: Will the app run on my iPhone/Android/BlackBerry Smartphone?
A: No. The Commentary iPad app is designed for a larger screen. We hope to be able to offer apps for other devices in the future.
Q: Will a yearly subscription to the iPad app include access to past issues
A: The first issue you will be able to access will the be issue of the month in which you started your subscription.
