- Abstract

The Speakers: Classroom, Graduate, Textbook, Undergraduates, Voices, the West, and Notes.

Classroom: The theme or title of our little symposium is “Rage, rage, against the dying of the light.”

Graduate: Rather intense, that.

Classroom: Well, yes, but we’ll overlook it for the moment, shall we? I should point out that the line comes from a poem called “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night,” by Dylan Thomas.

Notes: Welsh poet, 1914-53.
