Communized Nazis

I have read with great interest the article by Béla Fabian in the May issue of COMMENTARY about the ex-fascists now serving in Communist governments in Hungary and Rumania. When I was in Germany during the past summer I was told of many instances, both in East and West Germany, where former Nazis had been taken into Communist circles with open arms. Obviously it is deliberate Communist strategy.
Dr. Fabian’s article should be most helpful in leading many people to see that totalitarianism is essentially the same whether Communist, fascist, or Nazi. I believe you have performed a real service by printing this article.
