Honest Appraisal

In this day and age when people overnight, with the help of an encyclopedia, become experts on any Jewish subject, it is refreshing to read such a thorough and exhaustive analysis as Herbert Weiner’s article “The Lubovitcher Movement” (March and April 1957).
The weeks and months which the author spent in making an honest appraisal of this great movement in traditional Judaism have produced a work which will be quoted decades later.
