I found it impossible to comment on Mr. Dwight Macdonald’s charges against National Review, as published in your March issue (“Scambled Eggheads on the Right”) in the space you allocate for such purposes. . . . Under the circumstances, I discussed Mr. Macdonald’s article in National Review itself.
