The American Radio, by Llewellyn White

- Abstract

This publication of the Commission on Freedom of the Press is in many respects one of its best and will add greatly to the net impressiveness of its performance. Llewellyn White, who served as assistant director of the staff, has written a lively, forthright, and well organized analysis of the American system of broadcasting—on the whole the best that has appeared to date, even though he thinks and writes within a rather narrow and “practical” frame of reference.
