So what if the whole Jeremiah Wright scandal has actually helped Obama among Democrats because, to them, it makes him seem more like a victim?

    For the first time, Obama ended his speech with “God bless you, and God bless the United States of America”.

    It was not without a hesitant pause, however.

    Yes, maybe we simple minded Pubbies underestimate the Dems’ addiction to victimhood. I admit I muted the TV when he started what sounded like a loooong diatribe about a poor woman who lost her legs, all her money, her job, her house, and her first born child… seriously, how does that inspire anyone?

    Has it occurred to anyone that blacks voting 9 to 1 in favor of a candidate because he is also black — cafe au lait, actually — is in itself racist? Sould the commentariat touch this with a ten-foot pole?

    What our “intellectuals” believe:

    Minorities (that is, the ones favored by academia/media) have the right to vote 100% for one of their own. However, such behavior by out-groups such as white males would be proof of their racism.
