Obama’s campaign team is composed of people whose formative experience was eurailing across the Continent with a maple leaf patch on their backpacks. They think the sight of their hero before a cheering throng of Berlin love-paraders will make him look presidential. My guess is that it will backfire. A lot of undecided types may find themselves asking, with Dr. K, “Who does this guy think he is?” And, “What, exactly, does he think he is running for?”

Political harm?, the man is only up 4 points in a political season that has Democratic written all over it.

I think it is funny to use the phrase, “win BHO love on this blog” That is the only thing Obama is offering. He can provide us with the world’s love, our own self-love, and the One’s love. Its all about feelings, naive idealism, and pandering to any group, leaving behind a vacuous, smiling picture.
