Re: The (Non)Conservatives Against McCain

Jennifer Rubin - 02.01.2008 - 2:23 PM

Abe, I entirely agree with your comments and would only add, that as one astute commentator has already noted, real conservatives do not impugn the military honor of a war hero.

I DO NOT support John McCain. I am one of those with MDSyndrom and I DO respect the military. That was then. Almost 40 years have passed. He is arrogant, nasty, arrogant, and arrogant. Ever since the Keating Five theft, he has been on a one-man vendetta. I suggest you start with the findings of the investigation at this NRO website: http://www.nationalreview.com/contributors/levin040501.shtml. To even imply that those who fear his ascent to the office of the president are anti-military is beyond the pale.

Personally I will vote for the proverbial ham sandwich against either Hillary or Obama.

We must keep some perspective. If either of the two democratic candidates wins, we are in for a minimum of four years of misrule worse than anything of which Dubya or McCain are capable. I think we can fill in the picture: economic irresponsibility, weakening of national security (perhaps catastrophically) .if it is Hillary, add pervasive corruption, abuse of government powers, crony politics, constant lying, and the lot.
