Just in Case You Missed It
- 02.19.2008 - 4:31 PMJohn McCain’s wife, Cindy, makes clear that she is proud of her country. Others have pointed out the difference in attitude between McCain, a man who actually suffered on behalf of his country, and the spectacle of the rich and privileged expressing no recognition of, let alone appreciation for, the benefits derived from being Americans. So far Michelle Obama is not getting much media sympathy. However, I am sure it is only a matter of time before Obama’s enraptured media allies will accuse conservatives of questioning the couple’s patriotism. Clever, isn’t it: those tricky conservatives got her to bring it up and reveal her own disdain for pre-Obama America. (One wonders, by the way, if she fell into despair for her country again after the New Hampshire primary results became known.)

I’m sure she’s simliarly proud of stealing her husband, who is two decades older than her, away from his former wife, who selflessly raised his children while he was in washington passing amnesty laws. or trying to

It is 2008—and the era of U-Tube. The MSM is losing control. Does anyone doubt the truth about Michelle Obama? In that case, one can easily send them links to her goofy utterances. You don’t have to take anyone’s word for anything. This is merely one example:

I’m sure Cindy McCain is proud of the fact that a rich, white woman in this country can serve zero time in jail for stealing drugs from her own charity or for serving as a bookkeeper who curiously lost reciepts for the Keating Five.

Teresa’s comments reads like a typical statement from one of those forgiving, humane, unifying avatars of the Change We Can Believe In! Good thing that none of the other candidates, or their wives or husbands, have any skeletons in their closets on such issues.
