The contrast between the two candidates’ ads today could not be greater. The Obama today runs a ballistic negative hit vilifying John McCain’s honor. Really. The McCain camp is paying attention to the day’s news and does a high-minded, non-partisan spot on economic reform and leadership. If you showed both to independent swing voters which would resonate? I am fairly certain the latter.

The more interesting question is whether anyone in the MSM — which has been spouting the “How low can McCain go?” line — will look at today’s offering along with the “Ha, ha, ha he can’t use a computer” Obama ad and revise the groupthink assessment as to which camp has sunk to new lows. Okay, okay–no one will, but they should.
