“They thought we’d be blown out.”

Jennifer Rubin - 04.22.2008 - 11:04 PM

But with over 80% of the vote he’s losing by 10%. And although he talks about uniting America and the party, his vote totals today don’t reflect an ever-expanding base of diverse support. He demographics are getting more and more restricted; his rhetoric tonight more angry. The Agent of Change has been knocked off message.

It’s becoming more and more evident that Obama’s base is the African-American vote and the young and/or gullible. I have to admit that there are an enormous number of ‘gullible’ out there, but whether or not it’s enough and whether or not they vote, I don’t know.

If Obama’s campaign were a soap opera, it would be named “The Young and the Clueless.”

“The Young, the Black, and the Clueless”

I’m agnostic, but I’m praying they don’t realize this in time. It’s like they don’t even know what the term “self selecting” means. And these are apparently disproportionately college graduates.

What, you mean the combined endorsements of the student body presidents of UPenn, Haverford, etc. didn’t put the O-man over the top? Inconceivable!

Perhaps if all the professors got together and made a big public endorsement, surely that would put him over the top.

Margin is 8.5% according to PA government website, not 10%.

Popular vote margin of 193,411 out of approx. 2,276,000 votes cast.
