As this issue was going to press, word arrived of the death of Moses Hadas, whose review of Keeper of the Law appears above. The world knew Moses Hadas as an eminent classicist and Jewish scholar. Those of us who were privileged to be his students knew him also as the greatest of teachers, and the dearest of men.—N.P.
