Ms. Magazine’s Unexpected Publicity

Lots of people around the blogosphere today have noted the Ms. magazine controversy, in which the publication refused to run an ad from the American Jewish Congress that noted the prominence of women in Israeli politics and government. Eugene Volokh has the details, and in particular I had a good laugh at this comment to his post:

It would be nice if Ms. set out to reform & enlighten its remaining 27 readers, but it’s understandable they prefer not to.
