Remains tense there. The raw data (with big margins of error) on the Senate race has Democrat Michael Bennet beating Ken Buck by two points. Could go either way still. loss there would be a blow for Obama, who, in 2008, carried the state 54 percent to 45 percent. Colorado was also cited by the New York Times back in August as evidence that “predictions of doom for incumbents and establishment candidates this campaign season are proving to be more complex in the real world,” because the Democrat that Obama backed won the primary won. If the Dems hold on to Colorado, even by two points, it will be cited as something more robust than it actually merits.
