A GOP Clean Sweep on the Issues

According to the Rasmussen Reports:

Voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on all 10 of the important issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports.

In addition, Republicans hold a 52 percent to 36 percent lead over Democrats on the issue of taxes; a 49 percent to 37 percent margin on national security and the War on Terror; a 43 percent to 40 percent edge on the war in Iraq; and a 43 percent to 36 percent lead on how to handle the war in Afghanistan,

On the issue of immigration, Republicans are trusted more by a 44 percent to 35 percent margin. On health care, voters now trust Republicans by a 48 percent to 40 percent margin. The GOP holds a statistically insignificant 41 percent to 40 percent edge on education. And when it comes to Social Security, voters again give the Republicans the edge, this time by a 44 percent to 38 percent margin.

There is not a single bit of good news for Democrats to be found in this poll — or, in fact, in any poll on any subject these days.

We’re seeing a political implosion perhaps unmatched by anything we’ve witnessed.
